Random Ramblings: LITTLE JACOB IS 9

Sunday, February 16, 2014

How did that even happen?  How did my little tiny baby become 9 years old already?
My little guy is such an amazing child and I learn so much from him everyday.  He has been through so much in his little life, more than most kids his age ever have to go through.
He is a tough guy and such a fighter.  He is a little lover and has such a big heart.
I love watching him grow and become such a little man, no longer our little curly haired baby.
He loves to stay up late on the weekends, watch you tube, reading (mostly lol), his android tablet.  No matter where we are or if we go somewhere, but he loves to hang out with the adults rather than the children.  He soaks in everything.  He loves music and can hear a song once and then can sing it all right along with the radio, he gets that from his dad for sure.  I love it.
He is starting to find an interest in cooking, which I love.
He likes to take pictures with his little camera, and I love this too.
My little Jacob I hope that you always have the love for life like you do now.  I have no doubt in my mind that God has big plans for you in your life. I hope that you always follow your dreams and never let anything hold you back from doing what you want.  I hope that you continue to inspire me, daddy and everyone around you.  Thank you for making me a mommy.
Mommy and Daddy love you so much and hope you have a great birthday little man.

Here are some fun pictures of our little guy through the years.  Some older ones I didnt' have on this computer so I had to take a quick shot with my cell phone.

I love that hair.  His hair used to be so curly and now it is straight.

This poor child has had more surgeries and been in the hospital more times than many people do their entire life.  He is so tough through it all and for this I admire him more than anything.

I swear he just started school .  Kindergarten and his missing teeth.

Handsome little man.

This was him all dressed up for his Kindergarten Christmas concert.

This was on a ride at the fair years ago.

First day of first grade.

In our old backyard.

This was just recent at his 3 grade spelling bee.  He did so good and we are so proud of him for making it so far.

This was his 3rd birthday.

This was him as a newborn. He was in the NICU when he was born.

Sleeping newborn.

I had a love for frogs for him when he was a baby.  Look at that little spiked hair.

This elmo was almost as big as him.  I got it for him before I even had him.  Look at those curls.

What a little poser.

This was at his first birthday party.  I want to squeeze those cheeks.

A few months old.  What a fatty lol.

I can't believe this was him 9 years ago.

Tomorrow we plan to play games and he has requested lasagna for dinner and chocolate cake with chocolate icing.  So that is what he shall get.  We will take him to chuck e cheese on a day when daddy is off work.
