Chloe loves to help water, well she just loves to be our little helper for many things.
So we were at Target the other day and she was dying to get this Hello Kitty watering can over in the garden section.  It wasn't too expensive, I think like $5.99.  However we are trying to teach her that she doesn't get something every single time we go to the store, so we didn't buy it.
She does have a little tiny one she plays in the tub with too.  But it got me to thinking when we got home.  I have seen this many times before and thought I would give it a try.
We go through milk in this house very quickly, so as soon as we were done with the one in the fridge, I cleaned it all out and let it dry completely.
Once dry I took it out to the garage and found a small drill bit and drilled many little holes in the top of the milk jug lid.
I didn't want the holes too small, but not too big either, so they are more like a medium size.

No pattern or rhyme or reason to where to holes went, just random all over to fill the lid.

I added some vinyl flowers and letters to the jug to make it special just for her.
She was so excited when I gave it to her, she instantly asked  me to fill it with water for her to go water the strawberries.

This was a quick and pretty easy project, but I knew it would just be something fun that my little Chloe would love.  The milk jug is perfect for this project because it has a built in handle .  I think though a half gallon jug would be a little better for her because when it is full of water, it is a bit heavy for her.  So we just fill it half way so she can still carry it.
Its a summer fun quick and easy project that she loves, so that is all that matters in the end right.  :)
