CINNAMON RAISIN, PEANUT BUTTER, HONEY AND BANANA BAGEL

Gosh that seems like a mouth full to say, but it is just that.  A mouth full of a breakfast.

A few weeks ago I had to run to Hobby Lobby after I dropped the kids off at school.  So since it is way across town I try to go on my way home from dropping them off so I can just make a giant circle and get it done while the kids are at school.  Well I usually drop the kids off at school at about 8:10/8:15 ish, and since Hobby Lobby doesn't open until 9 I take my time getting there and will usually drive through this really good bagel shop that is on the way there.  Einstein Bros. Bagels.  I had never had them, nor heard of them until we moved here to Arizona.  They are really good.  I have only tried a few types but they have all been really good!

Before this I was loving their apple cinnamon gourmet bagel, with regular shmear on it. SO GOOD! But on this particular day a few weeks ago they had this bagel up on their board that caught my eye.  Actually it was the toppings that caught my eye.  It was called the protein pack.  You got to pick the type of bagel you wanted it on, then they added peanut butter, a drizzle of honey and sliced bananas.  OMG!! It was so good and so filling. I picked a cinnamon raisin bagel.

I knew that the kids would LOVE this, so that day when I went to the grocery store I got all the stuff so that I could make it for them for breakfast before school the coming week.

I got JIF peanut butter because that is the kind they used, and that is the kind we normally buy anyways.
I got Walmart brand honey, a good looking bunch of bananas and the only cinnamon raisin bagels they had at Walmart.

Here is how you put it together.
Toast the bagel, immediately spread each side with peanut butter.  By doing it as soon as the bagel is done toasting, the peanut butter starts to melt and make it creamy right on the bagel. Then drizzle over some honey, and add the sliced bananas right on top.

It is seriously SO delicious!!!

You could even add some raisins in there as well for an extra treat.

It is really quick and easy and just like I knew it the kids LOVED these.  We havn't had them since then I think I need to get the stuff again and make them next week for the kids.

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you try these and what you think.
