STAYING HEALTHY WITH CENTRUM VITAMINS FROM WALGREENS

Do you find it hard to remember to take your vitamins daily?  I sure do.  I hate to say this, but I feel like the older I get the more things I forget.  Gosh if I am like this now, I hate to see my memory in 10 years from now.  


But thankfully I have found some ways to help me remember to take them.  One reason I stopped taking my vitamins years ago on top of always forgetting, was the taste.  I never liked the gritty chalky taste I would when taking vitamins.  

But now I have found a great vitamin that I like to take daily.  These Centrum MultiGummies and Vitamints are like no other vitamin I have ever tasted before. The great taste of these makes getting my essential vitamins very easy.  I love the gummies because they taste like you are just eating some gummy candy, and the vitamints in the raspberry are so refreshing and not the chalky nasty taste one bit- just like a mint.    



Being on the go with 3 kids I had to find a good way to help me remember to be diligent in my daily vitamin intake.  So I found 3 ways to help me remember when to take them.  All of them together, and I rarely forget to take them anymore.  

The first way I found very helpful was to put my vitamins in a pill container for the week.  So every Sunday I separate one vitamin into each daily compartment.  That way I have one laid out already for each day that coming week.  Then if I am going to be on the go during the day I can toss the pill holder into my purse instead of having to take the entire bottle with me.  

If I am going to be at home during the day, I just leave the pill container next to my bed on my nightstand.  That way I see it, so it isn't out of sight out of mind kind of thing.  This way I always know where it is, and if for some reason I did happen to forget during the day it is the last thing I see at night before I go to bed to remind me to take them.  




The next way I remember to take my Centrum Vitamints is to set my alarm clock on my phone.  I set it for 10:20 am and it goes off every single day.  I labeled the alarm Take Vitamins.  That way no matter where I am home or on the go I am reminded to take my vitamins.  I picked a time that I felt was best for me.  The kids are all in school by this time and usually if I had errands to run, I was home by this time. 


The third way I use as a daily reminder to take my Centrum Vitamints is to write it in my planner.  I open and look in my planner daily, so I started writing it in my daily top 3 tasks so I would also see it there everyday.  



With all 3 of my daily reminders I never forget to take my Centrum Vitamints anymore.

I love that when I am out running errands I can stop by my local Walgreens to grab my Centrum Vitamints.   Another thing I love about getting my Centrum Vitamins at Walgreens is the Partnership with Vitamin Angels - "Get Vitamins Here. This is one way I am trying to change to have a healthier lifestyle.  

Another way I have found to help me get through the afternoon until dinner is a little pick me up snack I love to keep on hand.  It has peanut butter so it helps with the protein and gives me just the little boost I need to get me through until dinner time.

They are so easy to make.  They are 
NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES



Let me share this super easy recipe with you. 

INGREDIENTS :

3 cups of minute oats
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of peanut butter
4 tbsp (1/2 stick ) of salted butter
1/2 cup of milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS :

~ Combine butter, sugar and milk in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
~ Let boil for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

~ Remove from heat and add in peanut butter right away, stirring so it melts into the sugar mixture. 
~ Add in vanilla and then the oats.  

~ Stir until it is all mixed well. 
~ Place spoonfuls onto wax paper
~ Let set for at least an hour. 

NOTE: They may seem runny to you at first when you place the spoonfuls on the wax paper, but let them sit and they will set and form cookies.  


I like to place them in a tupperware and in the fridge so that they get cold, but that is not required, just my personal preference.  




This is just some of the ways I am trying to keep healthy, and I love that the Centrum Vitamins from Walgreens are there to help me achieve this goal. They make it so easy to take my vitamins daily.
