As with any weight loss journey it is never an easy one.  I started out this journey to better myself not just for me but for my family as well.  I was excited and nervous at the same time.  All those thoughts going through my mind, what if I can't do it and fail at losing weight, what if I can't change the way I eat and drink soda.

But let me tell you this.  It does not happen overnight, it does not happen in a few days.  You must continue to work hard for what you want, and what if you screw up and not drink enough water in one day, or eat a cookie or too much of the wrong kind of foods...  IT IS OK.  We are all human and it is ok to mess up from time to time.  So what do I do when I have a not so great day?  I do just like one of the kindergarten teachers I aid for teaches her class, make the next one better.  So I just make the next day better.

I am such a visual person so I need some motivation sometimes to remind myself to keep going and remember a bad day is just that , one bad day out of many.  To keep my goals in mind and focus on the bigger picture.

So I created these little printables to hang up for myself around the house.  I put them in places that I can see them every single day as little reminders when I see them.

I put one on my medicine cabinet on my side of the bathroom since I get in there every morning when I am getting ready for the day.

We always come and go out of the garage door when we leave everyday, so I put one on that door so I can see it when I leave for my day each morning.

Since I have to get into the fridge everyday, I put one on there as well.

When you come out of our bedroom there is this tiny hallway with my craft closet.  You cannot walk out of our room without seeing this door, so I hung the last one there since I can't miss it everyday too.

These little signs have helped me alot.  There are days when I am frustrated and sometimes it just helps to remember these little things to put my mind back on track.

Now lets talk about the last few weeks.

I thought trying to cut out soda and drink more water was not going to be an easy task, but amazingly it has been much easier than I thought it was going to be.  Since I started working at about the same time I take all my water bottles to work with me and leave the soda at home.  I stick my water bottles in the freezer and grab them throughout the day before they are completely frozen and it gives me ice cold water all day long.

I have found then that once I get home I do not even want to drink much soda, if any at all.  I thought I would want soda so much since I hadn't had any all day long and it really hasn't been the case.  I sometimes have a soda when I get home from work or once in a while I will wait and have one with dinner but for the most part I continue to just drink ice water.

It is amazing how slugish I do feel on the weekends if I do let myself have a soda or two, and gosh it feels so blah.

So now let me tell you again a little about this product.
  • alli® weight loss aid (orlistat 60mg capsules) is the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss aid on the market. It works by blocking 25% of the fat you eat from being absorbed by your body.
  • it should be used with a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet.
  • take multivitamins at bedtime while taking it
  • don't forget to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

I picked up my bottle of alli® weight loss aid at Target when I was there one day picking up some other items I needed that day.

What I love so much about alli® weight loss aid is I know that it is working even though I am not down tons of weight yet, but with my very minimal physical activity and just my change in food intake and water drinking I already feel better overall each day.  I know that alli® weight loss aid is helping me achieve my goals for my future.
